Artist Statement

Hi, my name is Samuel, and I love to draw. My favorite things to draw are animals. I prioritize in basic traditional paper pencil. I do really need to practice doing other types of drawings besides animals. My time in Portable Vision has gotten me out of my shell and has helped me expand to more types of mediums.

I created a drawing of a few characters using alcohol based markers. At the beginning of the session I was awkward and had no idea what to do. Now at the end of the session I am still confused on what is good but more confident.
